2. App Purpose

Afterwords is a mobile application designed to help users communicate critical information to their loved ones in case of unavailability or emergencies. The app allows users to set up emergency contacts, create customizable messages, and share their location in case of distress. The primary goal of the app is to provide peace of mind to its users.

3. User Types and Registration

  • Users must create an account to use the app, either through email and password, social media integration (Google/Facebook), or facial recognition.
  • Two user roles exist in the app: subscribed users and principal contact users. Subscribed users purchase a subscription to access the app's features, while principal contact users have limited access to notifying emergency contacts.
  • Users must designate a principal contact at the time of registration.

    • 4. Subscription

  • Users can choose between a basic or premium subscription with monthly or yearly payment options.
  • App admin has the authority to set subscription amounts, activate or deactivate subscriptions, or create new subscription plans.

    • 5. Emergency Contacts

  • Users can add up to 10 emergency contacts, including family members, friends, or legal advisors.
  • Principal contacts receive notifications to download the app and execute emergency alerts if the user becomes unresponsive.

    • 6. Emergency Notification and Panic Button

  • The app allows users to trigger emergency notifications that automatically send pre- drafted messages to designated recipients.
  • A panic button is provided for immediate assistance, which notifies emergency contacts.

    • 7. Location Sharing

  • Users can share their location with designated contacts for safety or support purposes.
  • Real-time location updates and tracking functionality are available.

    • 8. Customizable Messages

  • Users can create different types of messages, including text, audio, video, images, and instructions.
  • Users can also set messages for prolonged inactivity.

    • 9. Principal Contact

  • Users can mark one contact as the principal contact who receives critical information such as passwords, legal wills, and pin codes.
  • Principal contacts are notified in case of emergencies or prolonged inactivity.

    • 10. Privacy Policy

    Your use of the Afterwords Mobile App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which can be found within the app. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how your data is collected, used, and protected.

    11. User Obligations
